Internet policy

At Aquaflames we prefer the personal touch and whilst we know the internet is a valuable source of information, we do not agree with selling a fireplace without proper and professional advice. Our staff have a wealth of experience to ensure the final results are what the customer wants and not a mish mash of poor quality products. Purchasing via the internet can be fraught with danger and may include being given misleading information and pictures

A FEW THINGS TO BE CONSIDERED BEFORE BUYING VIA THE INTERNET

  • Can you be sure that what you are ordering is exactly what you will get?
  • Will it fit in your home and operate correctly in conjunction with your chimney type or will you be left with a product that is of no value to you?
  • Will the person who has sold it to you still be in business next week if there is a problem or technical issue which needs resolving?
  • Will the sales person be able to back up the sale of the appliance with the company’s own engineers and installation service?
  • Will the company be around to service your appliance or carry out any repairs in years to come?

We regularly hear of people who thought they had bought a bargain on the internet but have ended up with problems. This is why we do not sell our products on the internet

We recommend that all our fires are installed by Gas Safe Register engineers in accordance with our instructions.

Disclaimer: Our suppliers policy is one of constant development and improvement. We therefore reserve the right to revise designs and specifications of our products without formal notice, patents pending.

Whilst we have taken every care in the preparation of this website it is not intended to replace the installation manual which provides more detailed information. Photography is for illustration purposes only and although every effort has been made to ensure accurate reproduction of typical installations and flame pictures they may vary according to fire model and flue types. We accept no liability for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from the use of this website.

A gas fire is a technical piece of equipment and, just like a gas boiler, needs regular servicing. We recommend that gas fires be serviced annually by a Gas Safe registered installer. This will help to ensure safe and trouble free use and enjoyment for many years.
